Once the rebuild is completed, the unit should meet or exceed the Original Manufacturer’s Specifications. 3. How Much Does a Transmission Repair Typically Cost?

4. How Long does a Transmission Repair Take?

 

Minor repairs may be completed the same day. Larger repairs or rebuilds typically take several days depending on parts availability and severity.

The time it takes for a transmission repair depends on the severity of the problem and the type of repair required. We will give you an approximate timeline based on our shop schedule once you confirm and approve the repair and will alert you if the timeline changes (delay in parts, inclement weather, etc.). We do our very best to complete all repairs and rebuilds as soon as we possibly can!

6. Is it better to repair or rebuild a transmission?

That depends on the damage. Many issues can be repaired without a rebuild. We only recommend a rebuild when it’s the most reliable long-term solution.
